Tool & Die Maker

Key Responsibilities Design, manufacture, assemble, repair, and sharpen dies, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment. Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, presses, and related tools. Read, interpret, and verify blueprints; perform accurate layouts and inspections to tight tolerances (±.0005 inches). Select appropriate materials and prepare metal surfaces through cleaning and deburring. Troubleshoot production equipment and support continuous process improvement. Use precision measuring instruments and perform visual inspections throughout manufacturing processes.
