Tool & Die Maker -

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Be a teammate in a 5-7-person crew to maintain approximately 30 dies. Perform corrective, predictive, and preventative maintenance. Assist in the evaluation of production problems due to tooling design or condition. Inventory and order replacement items needed for tooling-i.e. punches, springs, etc. Support Production during your die's allotted run time. Tool & Die Maker -

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Experience in operating on lathes, milling machines, grinders, welders, saws and other related machinery. Knowledge of Progressive and Transfer Dies. Experience working with presses and related equipment. Knowledge of die mechanics. Strong work ethic and a team player. 2 - 4 years in the Tool & Die trade. Knowledge in tool repair. Ability to work 40/50 hrs. weekly

Experience:

troubleshooting progressive, transfer or line die: 3 years (Preferred) precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, gauges: 3 years (Preferred) welding, grinding, machining, or fabricating die components: 3 years (Preferred) repairing progressive, transfer, or line dies: 3 years (Preferred) preventive maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
