In this energetic role, you will operate tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and ensure efficient vehicle recovery operations. Your mechanical aptitude, driving skills, and customer service mindset will drive your success as you handle a variety of towing tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles of all types. Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best towing approach. Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or specialized lifting tools. Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists with professionalism and empathy. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times. Follow safety protocols rigorously during vehicle recovery operations to prevent accidents or damage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely service delivery. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Must pass background check for AAA And local and State Police. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally. Prior mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive systems is highly desirable.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
