Old Brock Road Waco, GA 30182 We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tower Crane Erection Rigger to join our dynamic construction team. We are open to training candidates with no prior experience. Starting pay $18.00 per hour. In this vital role, you will be responsible for and assist with the safe and efficient assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of tower cranes used on large-scale construction projects. You will work with team members to ensure that crane installations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with all company and job site safety standards. Duties Safely assemble, disassemble, and modify tower cranes according to engineering specifications and safety standards Rig heavy components using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as slings, hooks, and shackles Conduct thorough inspections of rigging gear, crane components, and safety devices before each operation Coordinate with crane operators, site managers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines Handle materials efficiently using forklifts, boom trucks, backhoes, excavators, and other heavy machinery as needed Maintain detailed records of all rigging activities, inspections, and safety checks Follow all safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings to promote a secure work environment Requirements Proven experience with crane erection, rigging, and dismantling on construction sites Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including cranes Ability to operate construction machinery safely and efficiently Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations Physical ability to lift heavy loads regularly and work at heights comfortably Construction site experience with familiarity in warehouse operations or shipping logistics is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team that builds iconic structures while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
