Towing Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of vehicles and equipment. This role involves loading and unloading materials, driving commercial vehicles, and ensuring the safe operation of machinery. The Operator will play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and safety within our operations. Responsibilities Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe handling practices. Operate tow trucks, flatbeds, and forklifts as required for various tasks. Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilize conflict management skills to resolve any issues that may arise during operations. Drive manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and operational activities. Experience Proven experience in operating commercial vehicles, including tow trucks and flatbeds. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues. Experience in conflict management to effectively handle challenging situations. Familiarity with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Previous experience as a mechanic or in a related field is a plus.
