Office Manager and all Department Heads ⸻ Position Summary The Town Manager serves as the chief administrative officer of the Town of Calera and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all municipal departments. This position provides leadership, direction, and coordination to ensure efficient delivery of public services and implementation of policies set by the Mayor and Town Council. ⸻ Key Responsibilities Administration & Operations Oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of all Town departments Ensure implementation of Town ordinances, policies, and Council directives Coordinate activities between departments to maintain efficient operations Attend Town Council meetings and provide updates and recommendations ⸻ Personnel & Leadership Supervise and evaluate department heads and the Office Manager Provide leadership, coaching, and support to staff Oversee hiring recommendations, discipline, and employee performance Foster a positive and professional work environment ⸻ Financial Management Develop and manage the Town's annual budget Monitor revenues and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility Provide financial reports and recommendations to the Mayor and Council Assist with long-term financial and capital improvement planning ⸻ Projects, Compliance & Oversight Oversee Town projects, contracts, and infrastructure improvements Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Monitor use and maintenance of Town equipment and resources Implement cost-effective operational improvements ⸻ Community & Communication Serve as a liaison between the Town, residents, businesses, and outside agencies Address citizen concerns and ensure timely follow-up Communicate effectively with elected officials, staff, and the public ⸻ Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible management or supervisory experience Experience in municipal government, utilities, construction, or related fields preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Valid Oklahoma driver's license required ⸻ Work Environment Office-based with regular field visits to Town facilities and project sites Attendance at evening meetings and occasional emergency response required ⸻ Compensation & Benefits Salary based on qualifications and experience Benefits provided in accordance with Town policy ⸻ Equal Opportunity Employer The Town of Calera is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.Pay:
