Tractor Driver 1

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tractor Driver 1 to join the Argyle team! Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, this role is responsible for tractor work on our Spirit Hill vineyard located in Salem, OR and must be able to perform a variety of tasks using a tractor and implement general vine maintenance work. This role is based in Newberg, OR and is a full-time, non-exempt position, working onsite Monday-Saturday 8 hours (flexibility required depending on the season) . The incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more!

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a valid Oregon State driver's license Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations, and sit/stand for long periods of time Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed 1-3 years tractor operation experience preferred 1-3 years vine canopy and trellis experience preferred Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate basic vineyard equipment Mowing Under-vine cultivation Spraying Cultivation Tractor and trailer operations Trellis repair and maintenance Complete basic tractor start-up and safety protocol; always fulfilling operations in a safe manner Complete various cultural practices directed by vineyard supervisors, including, pruning, brush pull, tying, cluster thinning, etc. By joining Argyle Winery, you will be joining a team of diverse individuals, all passionate about wines, our employees, and our business and what they do!
