Trailer Assembler Department:

Boise, ID Job Description The Trailer Assembler is responsible for the complete installation and assembly of trailer components and systems during the manufacturing process. This position performs mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and finishing work to ensure trailers are fully assembled, functional, and ready for final inspection and delivery, and other tasks as requested. The assembler works from build sheets, blueprints, and production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards. Assemblers have the option to be promoted and increase their hourly salary as they learn new skills. The ideal candidate for this position is committed to their role, able to work well with others, and has strong communication skills.Essential Responsibilities:
Install plastic liners and components inside trailer bins and perform plastic welding repairs and finishing after installation Assemble and install trailer electrical systems, including wiring and lighting components. Install unloading belt systems and related components. Assemble and install air brake systems, including routing air lines, mounting air tanks, and installing air valves and fittings. Install trailer tarp systems and associated hardware. Adhere to company policies, rules and promote safety standards. Use had tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and shop equipment safely and effectively. Inspect completed assemblies to verify proper fit, function, and quality standards. Maintain clean and organized work areas while following all company safety procedures. Work with team members and other departments to meet production deadlines.Minimum Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read measurements and assembly instructions. Experience with trailer manufacturing, assembly, or related mechanical work preferred. Knowledge of electrical wiring, air brake systems, and trailer components is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools, air tools, and shop equipment. Ability to lift, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
