Job Description

Purpose:
Working with Program Directors, the Training and Implementation Coordinator develops and implements service models, training and coaching curricula, programs and related materials to provide new or enhanced behavioral health services through the Youth and Family Training Institute at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). The Training and Implementation Coordinator will also provide training, ongoing coaching, and technical assistance to assigned workforce program staff as they become competent in the services being implemented. This position is primarily remote and does require regular travel as needed to various locations throughout the state of PA to support the workforce with training and implementation of contracted program.
Responsibilities:
Become a certified or credentialed trainer in models being implemented, as appropriate. Ensure that trainings, curriculum, program materials and technical assistance are developed, vetted and approved according to YFTI standards prior to implementation. Assist in the development, coordination and training for workforce program staff. Provide onsite coaching and technical assistance for the workforce and support them in person and via telephone/virtually as they become credentialed and begin implementing interventions to ensure fidelity to model and YFTI standards. Develop an evaluation and continuous quality improvement methodology to assure the effectiveness of training, coaching and technical assistance. Create and maintain training materials, updating as necessary. Develop and implement additional training and education as needed. Develop resources and support for program implementation, including hiring guides, best practices for supporting staff, recruitment and marketing materials, problem solving strategies, case consultation, and other support needed to develop and implement new programs within agencies. Participate in discussions with collaborating agencies, MCO's, county leadership and other stakeholders related to the overall training/coaching and technical assistance efforts. Participate in the strategic planning efforts and contribute to the overall success of the interventions/programs. Partner with program evaluators to support data gathering that documents both fidelity and outcomes for interventions/programs.
