Training Only — Not an active hiring role Why This Role Exists This is a practice requisition used for training hiring managers, testing workflows, and building confidence using our hiring tools. No candidates will be hired into this position — but plenty of skills will be. Think of it as a sandbox for learning how Dash In and Splash In recruit, communicate, interview, and make thoughtful hiring decisions. What You'll Practice Reviewing applications without overthinking every bullet Using interview guides and scorecards consistently Writing candidate notes that future-you can understand Providing clear, respectful feedback Moving candidates through a process without losing momentum Collaborating with recruiting partners like a pro What a "Day" Might Look Like Open the requisition and pretend you're filling a real role Screen a sample candidate profile Run a mock interview conversation Compare notes with peers Decide who would move forward and explain why Close the req without existential dread Skills You'll Build Structured interviewing Hiring decisions based on behaviors, not gut feelings Candidate experience awareness Using Jobvite / Workday tools effectively Communication that is clear, timely, and human Bonus skill: resisting the urge to hire the first person who seems nice.
