for this job. Your compliance is required for your application process. Now here is the description of this job: Martin County has an opening for one full time Transit Supervisor. This employee ensures the agency staff meets the requirements of the agency's Mission Statement. Work involves the direct supervision of all Transit Drivers. Trains the new Transit Drivers and conducts the monthly safety trainings with the entire transit staff. Conducts Transit Driver evaluations and conducts "ride-alongs" with the Transit Drivers to ensure safety program compliance. Provides documentation for disciplinary actions. Constructs disciplinary action letters addressed to employees who required that action. Employee reviews random videos of bus operations to evaluate the performance of all Transit Drivers. Serves as the "back up worker" to the Administrative Officer II by providing the data and forms forNCDOT-IMD
reports, grant applications, surveys, compliance reviews, audits, and safety reports when needed. Supervisor will assist the Administrative Officer II with the investigations into vehicle accidents, post-accident alcohol and drug testing, injury investigations and reviews, and/or customer complaints. Employee reviews videos of all bus and van accidents, and/or injuries. Employee will be "On Call" biweekly for vehicle accidents, post-accident alcohol and drug testing, and also Transit Driver "call outs". This employee is the "On Call" backup bus driver when a driver calls out sick. Will secure the riders in wheelchairs. Will serve as "back up" worker to the Transit Specialist forNCTRACKS
keying and bill invoicing when these tasks are behind. Pre-dawn and after dark work is performed. Employee will work according to the safety procedures, all trafic laws, Federal and State regulations, and perform tasks under the supervision of the Administrative Officer II. Employee may be called upon in case of a disaster, either man-made or natural, to serve the residents of Martin County, N.C. in ways other than listed above. These other duties will take precedence over duties described in this job announcement. The salary range is $36,132 to $55,405 and is considered a grade 65 career position.Pay:
