00, DOE Full Time, Onsite position We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transport Specialist to join our team. The Transport Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, medical appointments, and airport trips. This role requires professionalism, attention to safety, and the ability to build trust with students.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport students between Chrysalis, appointments, and airport trips. Maintain punctuality and adherence to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Provide a supportive and calm environment during transport, ensuring student safety and comfort. Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure all transportation vehicles are in good working condition. Keep accurate logs of mileage, routes, and student attendance during trips. Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and clinicians regarding transportation schedules and any unforeseen delays. Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
Must have a valid State of Montana driver's license with a clean driving record.
Age:
21+ years of age or older
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
Experience:
Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
Certifications:
CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
Background Checks:
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
