Job Description

We are seeking dedicated professionals to staff our quality programs. Transportation Driver- Transportation- $18.00/Hr Closing date: 05/18/2026 PT 10 Hr/wk Provide safe and reliable transportation for program participants in support of activities aligned with program goals and objectives.
Responsibilities include:
assisting program participants in and out of the vehicle as needed, following assigned routes and directions, logging mileage and maintaining accurate records, adhering to the vehicle's preventative maintenance schedule, and ensuring the vehicle remains in safe and proper operating condition.

Tuesday and Thursday 8 am - 1 pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Transport members on a daily basis to and from appointments, meetings, social outings, etc. Provide assistance to members, if necessary Confirm schedules by calling members one day before scheduled trip Must be reliable and prompt in meeting transportation needs Ability to assist members, when needed, in and out of van Maintain confidentiality Ability to relate to and communicate with members and staff Follow directions and/or road map Respond to crises and follow protocol for reporting Log mileage, maintenance of preventative schedule for vehicles Ensure vehicle is in operating condition Communicate relevant information pertaining to members' interactions and/or observations with appropriate staff Engage in continuous concerted efforts to access, obtain, respond to pertinent agency information/communications and disseminate as appropriate Provide conditions that maximize safety for co-workers and program participants. Other responsibilities of Reliance Health staff, such as participation in Agency events, adhering to Agency Policies and procedures, training requirements etc. Other job-related duties as assigned Perform duties while demonstrating Agency Core Competencies and values
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid CT driver's license Public Service License eligible CPR and First Aid certified (if not current, renew certification or obtain within 2 months of hire) Experience working with individuals with mental illness and/or addictions preferred Drive safely with distractions We offer an excellent benefits package, competitive wages and loan repayment program.
