Yes The City of Conway is accepting applications for an Airport Line Technician position at the Conway Regional Airport at Cantrell Field. This position is responsible for providing aircraft line services, ensuring airport safety, operating airport equipment, and delivering excellent customer service to airport tenants and the public. The Airport Line Technician plays a key role in maintaining safe and efficient airport operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Park, fuel, and reposition aircraft Move aircraft in and out of hangars using appropriate equipment Perform and document routine airport safety inspections Operate UNICOM radio and answer telephones Provide customer service to pilots, tenants, and the public Operate and maintain airport equipment including refuelers, tugs, towbars, GPUs, tractors, mowers, backhoes, ramp sweepers, and snow removal equipment Assist with general airfield and grounds maintenance Prioritize tasks when working independently Comply with all airport safety and operational procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Previous airport line experience preferred, but not required Must possess and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate aircraft and airport support equipment Strong verbal communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions Exposure to loud noise and aviation environments Regular lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds Must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays
