Job DescriptionAs an Interline Baggage Ramp Agent, you'll play a key role in ensuring passengers' baggage is accurately transferred, staged, and routed to the proper destination. You'll work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment where teamwork, safety, and attention to detail are essential. If you're ready for a physically active role that makes a real impact, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage from conveyor belts. Deliver passenger luggage to designated locations within an allotted timeframe. Safely drive and operate ground equipment, such as tugs, in areas of congestion. Operate baggage scanners to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination. Monitor weather conditions and take appropriate safety measures. Perform regular equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier safety and security requirements. Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee's successful business operation. Qualifications Required A valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. Ability to pass a physical capability test. (SEA and SFO only) Ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to obtain & maintain an airport SIDA badge, US Customs seal, and USPS security clearance. Ability to work any shift, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and Holidays. Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, and grasp. Ability to maintain reliable attendance. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with others. Ability to work at a constant and quick pace. Understanding and ability to utilize electronic tools to interpret flight schedules and airline flight destination information. Performing basic mathematical functions. (e.g., counting bags) High school diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Previous airport experience. Previous experience working in a physically demanding or safety critical job.
