Airport Operations Agent (Entry Level)

Job Summary:

The Airport Operations Agent (PTI) is responsible for executing daily passenger service duties such as check-in, gate, arrivals, responding to passenger inquiries and resolving simple issues and complaints under the guidance and supervision of senior staff and managers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Welcomes arriving passengers at the gate and assisting them with immigration and customs as needed
• Checks-in passengers by checking baggage, verifying and clearing travel documents
• Performs departure gate duties such as crew escort, gate announcement, seat upgrades, etc. to ensure smooth boarding process
• Performs various Lounge duties including reception desk, pantry assistance, buffet counter, floor attendant, clearing, restocking, and cleaning
• Is responsible for irregular flight handling such as distribution of meal coupon, hotel & taxi vouchers, follow up on inquiries for additional reimbursement of transportation, car rental, etc., baggage distribution and storage and guidance to taxi or bus transfer area
• Performs Travel Assistance Service (TAS) duties by escorting passengers including minors for arrival and departure Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to obtain airport badge with US Customs clearance
• Amadeus Altea System
• Ability to obtain liquor license/Bartender Card
• Ability to obtain food handling certificate
• Must be able to pass JAL Dangerous Goods (DG) test Other Qualifications Authorized to work in the United States (No Work VISA support but OPT or AT are welcome!

) Available to work rotating shifts including early mornings, overtime, weekends and holidays Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS office products and Google Workspace such as Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint Be able to lift a minimum 15lbs with no restrictions and mainly standing and walking Passing of Airport Security Training and Test, Test Dangerous Goods (DG) Test and State of Hawaii Liquor License Test Bilingual Japanese-English is preferred but not required We Offer An opportunity to be part of the exciting global travel industry A chance to develop professional skills with career growth opportunities

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Must be able to travel occasionally as requested

$17.22 - $21.20 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
