Job Description As a Airport Security Officer in Honolulu, HI , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 1+ years of security experience 21+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an airport location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts, public agencies, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points, observe activity in assigned areas, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions according to site procedures. Support government location operations by documenting daily activities, assisting with directions and inquiries, and following post orders related to restricted areas and public-facing environments.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
