As an Airport Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Documentation in Kahului, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas at a government transportation location, helping to maintain a secure environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. PM Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 21+ years of age Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport property to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and public-service agencies as directed. Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity according to site procedures. Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
