As a Airport Security Officer
  • Foot Patrols in Lihue, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff with strong customer service and communication. In a role shaped by teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will help create a welcoming environment while contributing to daily site operations.

PM Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (+1 years) 21+ years of age Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, and/or policy violations according to post instructions. Support crowd management and orderly movement during peak travel periods, special events, delays, and/or emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
Have 1+ years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
