Role Purpose The Planning Manager supports daily station and network performance by analyzing operational data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable insights. This role focuses on improving on-time performance, reducing delays, and enhancing overall operational efficiency through data mining, reporting, and performance tracking. The position requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. What you will be doing Conduct data mining and operational research related to flight performance, delays, turn times, and resource utilization Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time departures, ground handling efficiency, and staffing performance Monitor daily operations and provide real-time and post-operational reporting to leadership Identify root causes of delays and operational disruptions, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance scorecards for station and network leadership Prepare clear, accurate, and timely reports and presentations for operational briefings Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and PowerPoint to support analysis and communication Ensure data integrity and consistency across operational reporting systems Communicate findings effectively with cross-functional teams including ramp, customer service, and leadership Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while meeting strict deadlinesHas the duty to suggest any improvements to working practice especially those relating to safety and security Operate motorized equipment Frequent bending, stretching, push/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small, confined locations Performs other duties as assigned
