Description Job Opening -- Airport Operations Valley County Airport Full Time - $18.00 to $20.00 (DOE) per hour with benefits. Shift varies Mornings, afternoon/evening, weekends, holidays, overnight on-call. Morning shift is 600 AM - 230 Afternoon/Evening Shift 1130 AM - 800 PM On Call 7-10 nights per month. Airport operations responsibilities include Customer Service Working directly with pilots, passengers, various government agencies and contractors.
Servicing aircraft with fuel, oil, oxygen, and de-icing. towing, parking, and marshalling aircraft.
Working in all weather conditions to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport.
Snow removal and lawn care with both heavy equipment and manual tools.
Monitor airport conditions and respond to emergency situations.
Perform maintenance on vehicles, buildings and grounds and janitorial cleaning.
Additional duties as assigned by the department head. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license and pass a background check to work withmercial passenger aircraft. ed applications can be picked at the airport counter.
