SCHEDULE AND DUTIES
On some days during Summer Camp, transportation assignments will primarily occur in the morning for scheduled field trips. Drivers who are willing to assist with student coverage during the remainder of the day may be scheduled for and paid a full 8-hour shift (7:30 a.m.
  • 4:30 p.
m., with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break). Drivers who do not wish to work a full 8-hour shift will not work on days where no field trip is scheduled and will be dismissed after the field trips conclude and compensated for hours worked.
SALARY:
$37.50 per hour
License and Certificate Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid Class A or B California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
  • Possession of a California School Bus Driver's Certificate with no restrictions.
  • Possession of a First Aid Certificate or Passage of the California Highway Patrol First Aid Test.
  • Possession of a valid CPR card.
  • Possession of a Medical Certificated (Form DL 51 and DL 51A).

PROCEDURE
The selection process will include an appraisal of individual applications and personal resumes. Candidates receiving the highest ratings will be selected for interview. (Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted).
