Bus Operator/Driver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers, ensuring a positive experience while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. As a Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the punctuality and efficiency of our transportation services. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of buses, including school buses, motor coaches, and shuttles, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical soundness. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of routes, passenger counts, and any incidents that may occur during transit. Collaborate with dispatchers to receive route assignments and report any delays or issues encountered on the road. Stay informed about local traffic patterns and road conditions to optimize travel routes. Skills Strong communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members. Proven customer service abilities to enhance the passenger experience. Experience in driving various types of vehicles such as limousines, paratransit vehicles, or school buses is preferred. Familiarity with bus driving regulations and safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting of vehicle issues.
