Charter Bus Driver

We're mainly known for our flagship, Airporter service between Marin County and San Francisco Airport. But the Airporter service is only part of our business. We also operate local, fixed-route transit bus service under a substantial contract with the County of Marin. And we have an extensive charter-bus business that handles everything from school trips and sporting events to multi-day sightseeing tours. We're also an employee-owned company, which means that when you join us (and after an initial qualifying period) you become a part-owner of the company. This sets us apart from the vast majority of transportation companies, since it gives you - the driver - a direct stake in the company's upside. It has a major effect on the way we conduct business, the way we treat one another, and the way we all pull together in order to make the company thrive. License and Other Qualifications To qualify you will need a Class A or Class B commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement and air brakes. Ideally, you will have at least a year's worth of charter-bus driving experience, and possibly a SPAB certificate. ($3.00 per hour additional base pay when driving SPAB trips). You should be comfortable with hours-of-service logging, and have an eye for detail. Most importantly, you will have a flexible, can-do, no-drama, polished and competent approach to your work.
