This job will provide you with great benefits and a retirement plan. We are looking for bus drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive school bus safely, following all rules and safety protocols. Monitor and manage passenger behavior, ensuring the safety of all passengers. Assist passengers, including loading/unloading wheelchairs and securing safety equipment. Conduct routine inspections and ensure buses are clean and properly maintained. Prepare and submit required reports and records. Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, or accidents promptly. Perform other assigned duties, including weekend or night trips.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Prefer someone with previous bus driving experience. CDL is preferred.
Education:
High school diploma or GED.
Licenses/Certifications:
Must be 21 years old Must have valid Colorado Driver's License Must have a clean MVR (DUI are automatic NO) Must have clear background (no felonies, violence or crimes involving children) Must be able to obtain the CDL-B permit and the P2 (Passenger) and S (School bus) endorsements on your own. Must have reliable transportation to work. Must enjoy being around kids! Ability to operate school buses, wheelchair lifts, and other related equipment. Physical capacity to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving sitting, standing, and occasional climbing. Strong communication, safety awareness, and organizational skills.
