Also known as Connecticut Transit or CT Transit. Drivers play a critical role in making sure passengers get where they need to safely. Wages & Benefits $28.75 per hour (1st 6 months = 75% of rate, next 6 months = 85% of rate) Full-time position scheduled for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report mechanical issues, and coordinate with dispatch as needed. Maintain passenger safety and comfort, assist customers, manage onboard announcements, and handle fare collection. Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols, including the use of seat belts and accessible service when required. Communicate clearly with passengers and team members; provide helpful information and coordinate with the manager for hazards.

Requirements Fixed Route Division Requirements:

You must have a Connecticut Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and endorsements P-Passenger and a public passenger endorsement (details here (https://portal.ct.gov/dmv/licenses-permits-ids/driver-license-endorsements/apply-public-passenger-endorsement)), and cannot have an airbrake restriction.

out of state must first transfer your license to a Connecticut CDL and then apply for a public passenger endorsement.
