Center City Public Charter Schools is seeking an experienced bus driver to join our staff for the 2026-2027 school year. This position requires you to be available to drive our students to and from each of our six campuses to destinations throughout the DMV area. The ideal candidate is prompt, enjoys working with children, is comfortable navigating DMV traffic, and is seeking part-time employment. Responsibilities Transport children to and from scheduled field trips Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times Obey all traffic laws Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route Ensure the safety of all students Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required Attend required trainings Maintain positive relationships with school leadership and chaperones Be available to work on-call from 10 am-7 pm during the months of August-June Qualifications/Skills High school diploma or GED preferred CDL license required 1+ years' experience driving a school bus (training provided for the right candidate) No at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years Clean driving record (no traffic citations in the last 5 years) Ability to carry out assigned route on time Excellent communication skills 2+ years of working with children preferred Compensation Center City PCS offers a highly competitive hourly wage.
