Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing safe and reliable transportation for our passengers, which will include children, and individuals with special needs. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people. Duties
- Safely operate a bus according to established routes and schedules.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit.
- Educate passengers on safety protocols and assist them as needed while boarding and disembarking.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes. Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a Passenger (P) endorsement and S endorsement. Must have a clean driving record.
- Experience in bus driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with passengers from diverse backgrounds.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
