Rate of Pay:
$15.00/hour Parking & Transportation Services is seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Transit Bus Drivers. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to gain professional driving experience while providing safe, reliable, and courteous transportation for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications :
Must be a current USF student graduating no sooner than May 2027. Must have a Florida Driver's License, a safe driving record, with at least 1 year of experience driving in the United States. Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with passenger and air brake endorsement. Training provided for qualified applicants; CDL permit required before training begins. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and service. Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain a professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate transit buses along assigned routes and schedules. Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed, including those with disabilities. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate ridership and operational records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and fellow drivers via radio or mobile data system. Follow all departmental policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
