School Bus Driver

Duties Safely operate school buses and paratransit vehicles along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring proper behavior management and child safety Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle's mechanical condition to identify any issues before routes begin Communicate effectively with students and company dispatch Maintain a clean and organized bus environment, promoting comfort and professionalism Follow all safety procedures, including emergency protocols and incident reporting when necessary Support special transportation needs such as childcare or senior care passengers, demonstrating compassion and patience Paid CDL training and testing!!! Experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or school bus driving experience is preferred but not required Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly valued but not required. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Knowledge of behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct onboard Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated commitment to safety, customer service, and community engagement Join us as a School Bus Driver and help shape safe journeys for students every day! Pay for routes is $40 to $50 per 2 hours route with at least 2 routes available per working day, extra income available with trips at $23 per hour.
