We are targeting residents That live in Waukegan, North Chicago, Beech Park and the surrounding areas for these position, and we guarantee you a job after training. We are committed to providing a great atmosphere to work in, as well as benefits such as paid CDL training, dental and vision insurance, an employee referral program, attendance and safety bonuses, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus (with a CDL and school bus/passenger endorsements). As a school bus driver, you will be serving your local community and transporting our most precious cargo - the children to and from school. Responsibilities Safely operate the school bus while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transport, including assisting with boarding and disembarking. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding schedules and any concerns. Conduct routine pre-trip inspections of the bus to ensure mechanical safety. Maintain a clean and organized bus environment. Provide excellent customer service and support to children and their families.
