We provide direct public transit service to the Lafayette and West Lafayette communities, including Purdue University. Our team members operate various sizes of vehicles, along fixed routes in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. We are ready to add to our team of community minded Bus Operators and we think we have the best corner office in town! If you have a passion for meeting and helping people in your community, then CityBus wants to put you in the driver's seat! Outstanding customer service required. Valid For Hire License or Valid Class B Indiana Commercial Driver's License with passenger, and air brake endorsement with ability to pass DOT physical - OR the ability to obtain a valid For Hire License with ability to pass DOT physical during the initial training period. Must meet motor vehicle license and criminal background standards established by the Corporation. Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations. Some mechanical aptitude required. Physically and mentally qualified to safely operate commercial passenger vehicle and perform all related essential job functions. Must participate in ongoing random drug and alcohol testing, as this is a safety sensitive position.
