BB&N is seeking a Part-Time Bus Driver for the 2026-2027 School Year. We're looking for applicants who are inspired by our mission to promote scholarship, integrity, and kindness. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Our Bus Drivers are an integral and respected part of the BB&Nmunity and aremitted to the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities include:

Providing safe transportation to and from school, field trips, sporting events, and all other activities requiring bus transportation Transporting sports teams to/from various sporting events in the afternoons/evenings Transporting faculty & staff between all campuses as needed Following State and Federal traffic laws, including Registry of Motor Vehicles, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, School Committee, and local authorities, while operating the vehicle. Assisting passengers on/off the bus when necessary Performing daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks as required by BB&N standards and state guidelines ing all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and discipline problems to the supervisor in a timely manner Maintaining a clean vehicle and timely reporting of maintenance issues

Qualifications:

Requirements, Skills, and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of driving experience and: Must be 21 years of age or older. US Citizen or Non-Domiciled CDL holders who are Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders), H-2A (Temporary Agricultural Workers), H-2B (Temporary Non-Agricultural Workers), or E-2 (Treaty Investors). Possess a valid Massachusetts State driver's license for at least three (3) consecutive years and a minimum of two (2) years of professional driving experience in good standing. Possess a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with both Passenger and School Bus endorsements•. Possess a valid school bus license and all required documentation to drive a yellow school bus. Possess a valid DOT medical card and a current First Aid/CPR certification. Have a School Bus Certification or Permit. Have goodmunication skills; able to converse in English with children, parents, and staff. Possess good judgment, attendance, and reliability. Undergo a successful background check (CORI & SORI). Available to be on campus on short notice, for emergencies and other unforeseen facility needs. Be flexible to work overtime, including weekends and evenings, to support school events. •If you do not hold the required Commercial Drivers License (CDL) endorsements, BB&N will assist throughpensation and training to obtain these endorsements.

Compensation:

$34.00-$36.42 per hour For Academic Year 2026-2027, BB&N will implement a bonus of up to $3,000 in sign-on and retention bonuses for fully licensed bus drivers: $2,000 sign-on bonus, which will be paid in 2 parts: $1,000 at the end of 3 months $1,000 at the end of 12 months Up to $1,000 for an additional prorated bonus paid in June 2027 to all regular BB&N employees

5:30 AM -8:30

AM Afternoon:

3:00 PM - 6:30 PM 25 hours guaranteed when school is in session and likely to have consistent access to additional hours during the day, weekends, field trips, etc.
