Bus Driver

Summary:

The bus driver transports students and campers in Nature Forward's 27-passenger minibus from and to Woodend Nature Sanctuary. Nature Forward seeks bus drivers on an occasional basis during the academic year for school field trip programs. During the summer, Nature Forward seeks bus drivers for 2-5 days per week depending on that week's camp schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive minibus in a safe, courteous and reliable manner throughout the service area Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required Assist in the boarding and un-boarding of passengers Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicle Use established procedures to report breakdown and emergencies to the supervisor as quickly as is practical under the circumstances Qualifications/Requirements Commercial Driver's License Class B driver's license Clean driving record At least 21 years of age Must pass criminal background test with fingerprinting Prompt, reliable and trustworthy Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds To apply, send a resume with references to eesearch@natureforward.org .
