Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and responsible School Bus Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of students. This role involves operating school buses and other commercial vehicles, adhering to traffic regulations, and delivering excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff. Duties Safely operate school bus on designated routes. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during every trip Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, lights, GPS navigation systems, air brakes, and mechanical components to guarantee safety and readiness Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed at all times Maintain accurate logs of routes driven, student counts, and vehicle maintenance reports using mobile devices or onboard systems Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly Experience Valid driver's license Proven experience operating various commercial vehicles such as buses, box trucks, shuttle vans, or similar fleet vehicles Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and fleet GPS tracking tools for route management Experience driving in adverse weather conditions and managing safe driving practices under challenging circumstances Prior customer service experience involving school transportation or shuttle driving is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Join us in providing reliable transportation that keeps our community moving forward! Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
