Job Description
Bus/Van Driver 1 (Year-Round) Position 1 (School-Year) Position Substitutes Needed Yarmouth School Department 25-hour/week bus driver position. 5 hours per day; duties to be assigned by the Director of Transportation to include, but not limited to, bus cleaning and Extended School Year driving (for the year-round position). Other duties to be assigned by the Director of Transportation. Starting pay is $27.50 for the first 6 months and $28.31 thereafter (or more, based on experience up to $30.31) Start date August 10, 2026 Willing to train to obtain CDL Class B with passenger endorsement for the right candidate The Yarmouth School Department, located ten miles north of Portland, Maine serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in four schools and is consistently recognized among the highest performing school districts in Maine, with two National Blue Ribbon School awards since 2018.
