Job Description

This position is for a Standby Driver. The driver will beexpected to be the primary substitute for all routes and the firstdriver needed when there is a planned or emergency absence.

When the driver is not needed on a route, the driver will beassigned other work, including but not limited to: dispatch, busgarage duties/maintenance, etc. Extra trip assignments as a busdriver will be permitted by contract. Hours may vary based ondaily needs/work assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma; school bus driver certification; Air brakeendorsement and "P" & "S" endorsements required.
WORK YEAR
All "student days" at 5 hours per day.
SALARY:
According to contract
