Commercial Drivers License Driver - Class B

Responsibilities Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles such as motor coaches, school buses, shuttle buses, limousines, and delivery trucks in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and addressing their questions or concerns professionally. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical soundness, proper functioning of safety equipment, and cleanliness before each shift. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance needs, and delivery or passenger records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, passengers, and team members using clear English language skills to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly. Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are upheld. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods or equipment when applicable, ensuring proper handling and securement. Experience Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Prior experience in commercial driving roles such as bus driving, shuttle driving, delivery driver positions or motor coach operation is highly preferred. Demonstrated mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience working with paratransit services or school bus operations is a plus. Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members. Customer service experience that highlights your ability to handle diverse situations professionally. Knowledge of safety protocols related to bus driving, limousine services, or other commercial transportation roles is desirable.
