Part Time Bus Driver

Bemis Farms Preschool & Childcare is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Part-Time Bus Driver to transport children to and from our center, as well as on field trips and other activities. This role is essential in ensuring our students arrive safely, comfortably, and on time—every day. What You'll Do Safely transport children to and from the center and on field trips Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning bus Ensure children are properly seated and secured at all times Maintain order and enforce safety rules during transit Communicate effectively with staff and parents regarding transportation Follow all state and local traffic laws and safety regulations Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Valid CDL with a clean driving record Minimum of 3 years driving experience Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols Dependable, patient, and attentive to detail Experience working with children is preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is primarily outdoors and involves exposure to varying weather conditions Environment can be noisy Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to sit for extended periods, as well as stand, walk, bend, and reach
