Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver/Trainer to join our team. This role involves safely transporting students to and from school, along with any paid training. We offer 32$ an hour along with 15 hours per week, you will get paid for 15 hours a week even though you will most likely work slightly less. We offer a 401K match along with significantly decreased labor rates for any problems you or your family has with their vehicle as we run a mechanical shop for vehicle here as well. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the community while developing professional driving skills. Duties Safely operate school bus according to traffic laws and safety standards Transport students to designated locations, ensuring timely and secure arrivals Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; perform basic mechanical checks Uphold all safety protocols related to child transportation and vehicle operation Keep accurate records of routes, incidents, and driver logs as required Experience Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities Experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly desirable Valid driver's license - we can work with you on the CDL process if you do not have one. This position is integral to ensuring safe transportation for students while fostering a supportive environment for both children and new drivers.
