Job Description

Responsibilities Summary:
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you want to support the health of your community? DOT Drivers at Memorial Blood Centers see new faces every day while supporting community blood drives that keep hospitals stocked with lifesaving blood. This position is a unique opportunity to use a range of your CDL skills by transporting bloodmobiles as well as employing customer service skills to ensure successful blood drives. Drivers will ensure safe and on-time delivery of the vehicle to the scheduled site followed by return to the garage. Maintains adequate inventory of supplies on vehicles and ensure that vehicles are clean. Perform customer service role during blood drives. Completes all duties in a professional manner, including transportin units, samples, and donor medical records to the processing center. $2500 Sign on Bonus!
Schedule:
Hours vary between 4:30am - 10:00pm with rotating weekends . Flexible schedule needed as well as some overnight travel.
Job Responsibilities:
Upon completion of your paid training, you will be able to: Prepare, transport, unload, load and return vehicles before and after assigned blood drives
Begin Day:
Mobile Preparation and Site Setup for a
Blood Drive During Drive:
Providing customer service, on-site recruiting for donors, and automation recruitment
End of Drive:
Site Takedown and safe transport of products to center Ensure exceptional customer service for donors and sponsors
Additional Responsibilities :
Maintains and promotes inter departmental teamwork and communication Demonstrates flexibility, versatility and a willingness to assist coworkers Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and cooperation The hourly rate for this position is $27/hr. (plus applicable shift differentials) IBR also offers comprehensive benefits (including medical, vision, dental, paid time off, and sick days) to full and part-time employees, as well as the opportunity to participate in a 403(b)-retirement plan with a generous employer contribution.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
License:
Valid/Current CDL (Class A OR Class B w/ Airbrakes) Current Medical Card / ability to pass a
DOT Physical Physical:
Ability to lift 40lbs and able to push rolling equipment
Preferred Skills:
