School Bus Drivers regularly check the vehicle to ensure safe operating condition, and that students are greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile. No experience needed. Paid Training and CDL testing. This is a 10-month position. Optional availability for summer school work. 72 per hour (based on relevant work experience) Job Duties Maintain safe and appropriate behavior of all riders in accordance with established guidelines. Assess incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations (e.g. road hazards, medical emergencies, accidents, etc.) Assists students and other passengers with safe loading and unloading from buses during transport and emergency situations. Perform routine cleaning on both interior and exterior to ensure safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (e.g. gauge levels, exterior condition, etc.) to meet safety operation standards. Prepare written and verbal reports within requested deadlines. (e.g. field trips reports, incident reports, inspections records, passenger misconduct, mileage logs, student counts, routing information, etc.) Requirements Must have a current Missouri Driver's License, with a clean driving record. Commercial Driver's License

• Class B (CDL-B) required, with passenger & air brake endorsements, and Missouri School Bus Permit, or willingness to obtain.

) Must be 21 years of age or older. Must pass a pre-employment background check. (DOT physical exam, drug test, and criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance)
