Job Description

Weekly Pay:
$650-$800+
Training Pay:
$120/day
After Training:
$130/day
Performance Incentive:
Additional $15/day based on attendance, safety, and performance Paid Weekly Mudcat Express is actively hiring Full-Time FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers in the Columbus, MS area! If you're dependable, safety-focused, and enjoy being on the road, we want to hear from you. Drivers will operate out of the FedEx Ground terminal in Columbus, MS delivering to residential and business customers using company-provided step vans and cutaway trucks.

1654 Charleigh D. Ford Jr. Drive, Columbus, MS 39701 Benefits Weekly Pay Health Insurance (Low Deductible Plans) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Training Shoe Program Company-Provided Delivery Vehicle Employer-Paid DOT Physical Growth Opportunities Schedule Full-time position 5-6 days per week available Weekend availability required Shift begins at 7:30 AM End time depends on route completion ( typically around 5:30 PM ) Responsibilities Arrive at the terminal and prepare your assigned delivery vehicle Load and organize packages for your route Safely deliver packages to homes and businesses within the service area Use a handheld scanner to track deliveries and pickups Provide professional and reliable customer service Follow all safety procedures and company policies Requirements Applicants must: Be 21 years of age or older Have a clean driving record Have at least 1 year of driving experience (work-related driving preferred; rideshare/delivery experience accepted) Pass a background check Pass a DOT physical (paid by employer) Pass a drug screening (includes cannabis, Delta-8, and certain CBD products) Be able to lift/move packages up to 150 lbs with equipment assistance Be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused No CDL required — this is a Non-CDL position. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: FedEx UPS Amazon DSP DHL Walmart delivery Uber / Lyft DoorDash / Instacart Courier / route delivery roles Step van / box truck driving Military & Veterans Encouraged to Apply We proudly welcome veterans and transitioning service members.
