Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting individuals, including children and seniors, to various destinations, while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Duties Safely operate a bus or van, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety of passengers during transport, including assisting with boarding and disembarking. Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules. Manage behavior on the bus, ensuring a respectful environment for all passengers. Assist passengers with special needs, including those requiring paratransit services. Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. Document daily activities, including passenger counts and incidents as required. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Previous experience in childcare or senior care is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Experience managing behavior in group settings is a plus.
