Temporary CDL Driver & Facility Support Specialist - Drive with Purpose!

Manchester, NH (Conveniently based with quick highway access, ample free parking, and public bus route accessibility)
Classification:
Non-Exempt Are you a licensed CDL driver looking for a role where your work extends far beyond the steering wheel? New Hampshire Job Corps is seeking a reliable, community-minded CDL Driver & Facility Support Specialist to join our team in Manchester! In this multi-faceted position, you will ensure safe student transit while playing a hands-on role in keeping our center facility and grounds in top condition. What You Will Do Safe Student Transit:
Provide dependable, safe, and timely transportation services for our student population.
Vehicle Fleet Care:
Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain accurate Department of Labor logs, and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs.
Facility Maintenance:
Perform proactive maintenance and inspections on the center's facilities and systems to ensure a secure, fully functional campus environment.
Student Mentorship:
Act as a positive role model by modeling Career Success Standards, showing courtesy, and holding students accountable for their actions.
Operational Excellence:
Organize, prioritize, and document your work status accurately while collaborating across departments to support student services. Qualifications & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required (Advanced degrees preferred). Must possess and maintain a valid in-state Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and meet company insurability requirements. Experience working with youth or in mentorship roles is highly preferred. Strong communication, data logging, and collaborative problem-solving skills. Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds.
