Job Description
School Bus Driver — Paid Training Available Join a trusted transportation team with 100 years of service. Wills Bus Service Inc. is a veteran family-owned and operated company that has proudly provided safe, dependable school transportation for school districts throughout the surrounding communities for 100 years. We are looking for responsible, safety-focused, and friendly drivers to join our growing team of professional school bus drivers. No school bus experience is necessary, and paid training is available. If you enjoy working with students, value a steady part-time schedule, and want the opportunity to earn additional income through extra trips, we would love to hear from you.
- Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students at established stops.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to help ensure safe operation.
- Provide courteous, professional service to students, parents, school staff, and coworkers.
- Assist with student passenger management while maintaining a safe and respectful bus environment.
- Learn student names and follow route directions, updates, and turn-by-turn instructions.
- Keep the bus clean and presentable, including sweeping, wiping down the driver area, cleaning windows, and maintaining student/client areas.
- Attend and participate in safety meetings as required.
- Fuel vehicles as needed.
- Take on available sports, field, and additional trips for extra income.
Requirements:
- Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and DOT physical.
- Must complete a behind-the-wheel evaluation.
