School Bus Driver

Orange County Transit LLC is seeking to hire fully licensed BPS or CPS drivers for the upcoming 2025-2026 School Year! We are hiring for our Walden location which services the Wallkill Central School District. Full-Time, Part-Time, Route Drivers, Per Diem Drivers, Trips and Charter Drivers. We offer very flexible schedules, you can either work a 3 day week or a 5 day week! Experienced School Bus Drivers can earn up to $27.55 per hour for a Big Bus and $25.76 an hour for Small Bus. An average of 25-30 hours per week. Minimum 5 hour guarantee daily. Year-round work, guarantee 42 weeks per year.

Job Requirements:

CDL Class B or C License with "P" and "S" endorsements and airbrakes At least 23 years or older Minimum of 1-2 years of school bus driving experience preferred. Ability to pass DOT physical and DOT drug screening. Must have a clean driving history.

Training Program:

No Experience... No Problem. We offer free classes to help you obtain your CDL permit. Once you obtain your CDL permit we will train you behind the wheel to become a School Bus Driver!
