Job Description

Little Miami Transportation Department is looking for a bus driver for the 2026-2027 school year.

Description Drivers are district employees of Little Miami who will transport students to and from a variety of school sites and ensure their safety while they are passengers on the school bus. Drivers responsible for ensuring the safety of all passengers, including special education students, while operating the assigned bus and for ensuring the assigned bus is in a safe operating condition at all times. Starting pay is $23.72 per hour and can go up to $28.94 per hour pending experience

Qualifications

Have an acceptable criminal background check within the past twelve months of employment and a negative pre-employment drug test

Be physically qualified as determined by an annual physical and present a valid annual physical certificate

Possess a valid Ohio Driver License

Possess a Commercial Driver License with a School Bus Passenger endorsement

Satisfactorily complete all behind-the-wheel training

Satisfactorily complete the School Bus Driver Education Program

Maintain excellent or above-average attendance

Maintain a safe driving record that meets insurance requirements
