Our primary mission is the safe and efficient transportation of young men and women who are entering military service. Our customer is the regional Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS), and a nearby contract hotel. We are looking for qualified drivers to work with an established team. This is a great little part time job working with great people.

JOB DUTIES - 1

Part One:

Utilizing our 44-passenger bus, you would be required to drive military applicants from a contracted hotel in North Olmsted, OH to the MEPS building Monday through Friday 4:00 am - 7:00 am making one trip daily. Pay rate - $36.78/hr. This does not take three hours but we pay the full 3-hour time block.

Part Two:

On occcasion, we are asked to pick up stranded applicants from the Cleveland airport and return them to the hotel later in the evening - then return them back to the airport in the early morning. This gets paid a minimum van rate of two hours (total of four + hours if you are the one who does both the evening and morning return).

• Each driver SHALL be available to cover for each other for sickness, vacations, etc.
• Each driver SHALL possess a CDL license to be able to cover the morning shift if needed
• There are plenty of hours to go around and we'd like to be able to hire a team that works closely together splitting days/shifts, and covering for each other as needed

WAGES :

Using the Federal Wage Determination - the starting rates for each position are listed above. The job is part-time. Paid training. No other benefits are offered.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The job requires a high school diploma or GED. Applicants MUST possess a valid Commercial Driver's License Class "A" or "B" with a Passenger Endorsement and NO air brake restriction (generally found on back of license). Driver must have a clean driving record verified by a current MVR report which the applicant MUST provide at the interview. MUST possess a current DOT physical or be able to pass this physical; pass a pre-employment drug test, random drug tests, and a background check. If you do not hold a CDL license with passenger endorsement or have air brake restriction, please do not apply! Applicants MUST have a minimum of three (3) years' professional passenger carrying experience.
