This is a regular and part-time job, limited to 19 hours per week. The hours are a) M-Th 2:00 pm
  • 5:00 pm & Su 8:30 am
  • 2:30 pm, or b) M-F 4:45 am
  • 8:00 am Woodburn Transit Service provides safe and reliable public transportation for people traveling within the Woodburn region.
The system was built with a focus on those who do not have reliable transportation options, seniors, and people with disabilities; and strives to provide residents, visitors, and workers traveling to and from Woodburn with efficient and convenient regional transportation connections. If you would like to be part of the City's Transit team in providing excellent service to the citizens of Woodburn and take pride in your work this could be your job. High school degree or G.E.D., and one (1) year of driving a bus or transit van with a wheelchair lift, or an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Candidates must pass the pre-employment background check; have a valid Oregon class B (CDL) license with passenger endorsement and air brakes. Bilingual in Spanish/English is strongly preferred. Applicants must pass the pre-employment drug test under FTA regulations. The position is subject to pre-employment, random, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing under the Federal Transit Administration regulations and authority as a safety sensitive position.
